Located in a scenic area and close to a ski shuttle stop, this hotel is a great choice for winter getaways. The hotel offers a modern wellness area with a sauna and a relaxation room. the hotel provides excellent meals, including a great breakfast with home-made bread and quality coffee.
Although the meals were fantastic, some of the staff did not speak English very well, which made communication tricky at times. the room lacked some basic amenities such as a kettle and toiletries.

comfortable room , good location
The hotel was under constractions with no name on front of it. So it was difficult to find it. Also the direct road was blocked.

The staff were extremely hospitable and friendly, and the hotel is charming and interesting; in a great location for both exploring the beautiful town and reaching activities in the National Park.
In the new wing, rooms have spotlessly-clean frameless glass walls onto the balconies. This is beautiful for the view, but it is well known to the staff that several people have injured themselves mistakenly walking into the glass (as one member of our party did, and was told, "You're not the first one; it happens all the time!") This is a hazard, and at the very least, the front desk should strongly warn people about this at check-in. It might also be good to put some type of sticker or tape on the windows. Our guest was really hurt, his glasses were damaged, and it ruined half a day of the short time we had for vacation.
